W&H Law Firm /Vietnam

W&H Law Firm (Vietnam Office) is a branch established by W&H Law Firm with the approval of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam. It is the first branch set up by a Chinese mainland legal services institution in Vietnam, founded in October 2006, and remained the only such branch in the country as of October 2017. The office is located in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In addition to five Chinese lawyers licensed by the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam, the Vietnam Office employs multiple Vietnamese lawyers (currently eleven), translators/interpreters, and other local staff.

To date, Vietnam Office has successfully assisted over 50 large and medium-sized Chinese construction enterprises in legally obtaining Construction Activity Licenses for projects in Vietnam; provided efficient and satisfactory legal due diligence services to more than 70 Chinese enterprises (including those from Hong Kong and Taiwan), preparing nearly 100 due diligence reports in both Chinese and Vietnamese; facilitated the establishment or acquisition of Vietnamese companies across various sectors for over 200 Chinese (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Singaporean entities and individuals; and supported more than 60 Chinese (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Singaporean enterprises in establishing or acquiring companies in Vietnam's conditional investment sectors such as mining, real estate, logistics, and retail.
