Fire, Explosion, and Emergency Management

As of August 2023, over 130 cases have been handled in the field of fire emergency management. Classic cases include the Hangzhou Greentown Blue Coast 622 nanny arson case.

Additionally, typical cases involving fatalities of 10 or more or property losses exceeding 100 million yuan include: the August 25 fire at Harbin Beilong Hot Spring Hotel, the September 25 fire in Yuhuan, Zhejiang, the October 28 fire at Sinotrans Jiuling in Dagang, Tianjin, the July 24 fire at Li's Wedding Photo Studio in Changchun, the November 25 fire at Longi Photovoltaic in Xi'an, the January 13 fire at Dabang Electric Company in Jinhua, the June 13 fire at a commercial building in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, the December 5 fire at Muyuan Group in Hua County, Henan, and the October 17 major forest fire in Xintian, Hunan, among others.

In the investigations of incidents such as the January 15 major explosion and fire in Panjin, the December 31 fire at Dalian Xinchangxing Market, and the August 15 fire in the Shenyang-Baishan High-Speed Railway Tunnel conducted by government departments, professional legal services were provided to the accident investigation teams.

W&H serves as the fire safety legal advisor for Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd. and also holds the position of long-term legal advisor for the Liaoning Provincial Emergency Management Department.
