Experience

Ms. Chen joined W&H Law Firm in August 2019. Before joining W&H, she practiced as an IP lawyer in Beijing Wan Hui Da Law Firm from 2008 to 2018, and worked as a litigation lawyer in Beijing-based law firms from 2002-2008.

 

Ms. Chen handled about 100 IP litigation cases every year, including patent infringement and invalidation, trademark infringement and prosecution, copyright infringement, anti-unfair competition, domain name disputes and IP transactions, from which she has accumulated rich experiences in this field. Ms. Chen is highly praised for her expertise and some cases she handled were selected as national excellent cases by China Supreme Court.

Represented Guangzhou Xin Lv company & Mr. Fu vs. a Taishan-based company (retrial case of patent infringement before China Supreme Court), which was selected as typical IP case by China Supreme Court in 2010;

Represented Ma De Pei company vs. two Yangjiang-based companies (retrial case of patent infringement before China Supreme Court), which was selected as typical IP case of China Court by China Supreme Court in 2013;

Represented Mengniu company vs. Tianjin Deluxe company (trademark infringement and unfair competition litigation), which was awarded as one of typical trademark cases in 2014 by China Intellectual Property News;

Represented Opple in serial administrative litigations of review of opposition and refusal, in which Opple’s mark was recognized as well-known trademark;

Represented Microsoft in a computer software infringement litigation, in which a high compensation of RMB6.1 million was recovered;

Represented SuperD company in a patent infringement litigation, in which the principle of priority evidence was accepted and a compensation of RMB1.5 millions was recovered
